Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
- Follow prescribed imaging protocols and patient safety guidelines.
- Position patients appropriately to ensure accurate imaging results.
- Provide clear instructions to patients and ensure their comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostics and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning correctly.
- Document all patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures at all times.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiology, with CT certification preferred.
- years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems (HIS) and PACS is a plus.
