Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the Imaging Services team at Round Rock Medical Center. This full‑time opportunity offers a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, competitive benefits, and the chance to work in one of the most respected healthcare systems in Texas.
During the training period you will work a variable shift schedule, typically lasting 45–90 days, and work all shift types – weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts – to understand the workflow and responsibilities associated with each shift.
After training is successfully completed, leadership will assign a consistent schedule based on departmental needs and team fit.

What You’ll Do
- Perform high‑quality diagnostic radiology (X‑ray) procedures following physician orders and imaging protocols.
- Maintain imaging productivity while ensuring excellent image quality and patient safety.
- Monitor and manage radiation dose reference levels and take appropriate action when thresholds are exceeded.
- Utilize AIDET communication practices to ensure positive patient experiences.
- Prepare and position patients using proper immobilisation devices and exposure techniques.
- Follow strict radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards.
- Maintain imaging equipment and exam rooms to meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Verify patient orders, history, pregnancy screening, and consent documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in PACS and EMR systems.
- Assist with inventory management and department workflow improvements.

Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
Less than one year of experience required.
Hospital or Acute‑Care Experience Preferred.
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (R) – Radiography required
- Texas Medical Board (MRT) License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
