Essential Functions
- Operate lithotripter safely during treatments, assisting urologists.
- Operate C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment as needed.
- Document lithotripsy procedures accurately.
- Maintain daily logs and perform quality control checks on equipment.
- Coordinate with urologists on treatment strategies and parameters.
- Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, reporting to management.
- Become proficient in anatomy and kidney stone localization via imaging.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification and applicable state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy required.
- Shockwave Lithotripsy (SWL) experience preferred.
- Computer skills desired.
- Minimum of 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred.
