We invite you to join our team as a Radiation Therapist in Las Vegas. In this role you will work with leading physicians and provide high‑quality care to patients within a successful health‑care organization.
Responsibilities
- Accurately deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
- Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in the clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
- Assist in maintaining the patient appointment schedule and submit correct billing information.
- Accurately cut blocks, when applicable.
- Accurately create custom molds.
- Accurately complete simple MU calculations.
- Accurately interpret a computerized treatment plan.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- Entry‑level position requiring 0–3 years of active practice as an RTT.
- ARRT certification required.
- Must hold a valid state license for radiation therapy.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this role include regularly sitting and using hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting of up to 30 pounds is required. Vision and hearing corrected to normal ranges are necessary.
Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment and requires significant interaction with management, staff, and external auditors and clients. The position requires frequent travel by air or automobile, approximately 70% of the workweek, on average. Successful candidates thrive in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment and have a passion for patient care.
