Radiation Therapist

We are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated Radiation Therapists to support advanced oncology treatment services in Utah, USA. This role is ideal for professionals with strong clinical expertise, hands-on experience with modern radiation therapy equipment, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Radiation Therapists must have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Must have human relations and effective communication skills.
• Must have the ability to perform verification checks and apply quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy of dose calculations.
• Must have the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of life-span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patient's status and provide care as described in the department's policies and procedures manual.
• Must have the ability to follow department policies, procedures and checklists to ensure safe, accurate treatments.
• Must have the knowledge to accurately charge for procedures performed.
• Must review and understand a treatment plan to accurately treat patients.

Radiation Therapists must have demonstrated prior experience with the following equipment/systems:

• Must have prior experience with ARIA.
• Must have prior experience with Varian TrueBeam.
• Must have experience with Surface Guidance Systems.
• Must have prior experience with all types of Image Guidance including MV ports, KV2D match, CBCT, extended CBCT’s and KV beam’s eye view imaging.
• Must have prior experience with Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) treatments.
• Must have prior experience with Stereotactic Body Radiation Treatments (SBRT).

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• Active license as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Utah.
• ARRT Credential in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience.
• Experience with ARIA and Varian TrueBeam systems.
• Experience with Surface Guidance Systems, IGRT, CBCT, DIBH, and SBRT treatments.
