Radiation Therapist

Job Title: Radiation Therapist Address: Reed City, MI Job Description:

• Perform routine radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Maintain and complete electronic treatment records daily.
• Calculate doses accurately and charge correctly at the point of service.
• Simulate basic treatment fields using 3-D planning and collect relevant simulation data.
• Identify educational needs of patients and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of supplies and equipment in treatment areas.
• Assist with department opening, machine warm-ups, and crash cart checks when required.

Critical Information

Shift: Days, variable hours 8:00-4:30 or 9:30-5:30, sometimes later depending on patient census Remote/on-site/hybrid: On-site Environment: Medical radiation treatment department Compliance/submission notes: Must submit timesheets timely via VNDLY; failure to do so may impact payment.

Education/Licenses Needed

CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT BLS certification (AHA or ARC) Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program; Bachelor's degree preferred
