Position Summary
Under the leadership of the department director and department manager, the Radiation Therapist performs radiation therapy services safely and effectively, maximizing the use of resources and equipment. The therapist interacts with patients, medical staff, and peers in a positive, service‑oriented manner and performs all treatment procedures in the assigned area, serving the entire population from birth to death. Duties are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures to maintain quality patient care in the hospital environment.
Experience
Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred.
Education
Graduate of a Radiation Therapist program.
Licensure & Certifications
Current CA Therapeutic Radiologic Tech certification (R.T.(T)), ARRT(RT), and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Work Hours
Monday to Friday, including occasional weekend and holiday weekend work. Shift start times vary (0600, 0700, or 0800) with an 8‑hour day.
Compensation
Regular Pay Range: $72.18 to $96.52 per hour (based on experience). Shift differentials: Evening $4.12, Night $6.18 per hour.
