Radiation Therapist - Oncology - Part-time

Fitzgibbon Hospital is a non‑profit community hospital serving the Marshall, MO area.

Shift

• Part‑time, 48 hours every two weeks (3‑4 days per week, Monday‑Friday)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Candidate qualifications

• ARRT (RTT) certification
• BLS certification
• At least one year of recent Radiation Therapist experience preferred
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
• Excellent bedside manner

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments to patients, ensuring precise delivery of treatment plans for optimal care
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Monitor patients during treatments, assessing condition and reporting adverse reactions
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other health professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Work with multidisciplinary staff within the department to care for patients
