Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned radiation therapy accurately with minimal supervision and maintain communication with patients during treatment.
- Perform daily and monthly QA for linac and CT, as well as IGRT, SBRT treatment, and portal imaging.
- CT/Simulate patients following protocols, construct immobilization devices, and use IV contrast for simulations.
- Lead CT Therapist duties include training in CT/Simulation and ensuring readiness of forms for physician completion.
- Maintain and verify all aspects of MOSAIQ for daily treatment management and attend weekly chart rounds.
- Adhere to department policies, safety standards, and emergency procedures, and report equipment malfunctions.
- Operate CT on rails for IGRT delivery and maintain accurate treatment records.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved course in Radiation Therapy.
- ARRT certified and registered.
- Strongly preferred experience with IMRT, 3D, SRS, SBRT, CBCT, and Align RT.
Schedule
8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.
