Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments in accordance with established plans and protocols.
- Perform CT simulations and daily treatment setup with a high level of independence and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure optimal delivery and patient safety.
- Contribute to quality assurance, safety initiatives, and continuous process improvement efforts.
- Support a culture of professional development, including mentoring students or newer therapists as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Certificate, Associate, or Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy.
- No minimum experience level; new graduates accepted.
- Proficient in using departmental computer systems and equipment (ARIA, VARIAN linear accelerators, GE CT Simulator, Elekta Gamma Knife, HDR).
- Demonstrated ability to obtain and analyze quality images (KV, MV, CBCT) for accurate alignment and treatment delivery.
- Capable of tolerating frequent stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting as required during patient or equipment movement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity for working with patients and families during cancer diagnosis and treatment.
License or Certification
Applicants must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy, or be registry eligible to sit for the exam. Licensure by the Florida Department of Health and Human Services in Radiation Therapy Technology is required. Continuing education hours are required to maintain state and ARRT registration.

Compensation
$37.63 – $56.40 per hour.
Schedule
Full time, Monday – Friday, hours vary based on patient needs (80 hours per pay period).
