Overview
These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services. These roles focus on the use of radiation therapy to treat cancer and other medical conditions. Work with advanced technology to deliver targeted radiation treatments designed to destroy or damage cancer cells, reduce tumors, and manage pain or other symptoms associated with malignancies.
Responsibilities
Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty. Typically involves diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients, and often include face‑to‑face interactions with patients. May also spend some time designing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized knowledge and skills. Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and require vocational or technical education. Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
- Experience: No experience required.
- Licensure: American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification within 6 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
Physical Demands
Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20‑50 lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
Compensation
The starting base rate for this role is $37.47 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
