Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with cancer and formulate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Administer and oversee radiation therapy treatments
- Collaborate with other oncology specialists and multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans
- Participate in tumor boards and case discussions
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards in radiation treatment
- Educate patients and their families on treatment processes and expected outcomes
- Engage in clinical research or continuous improvement projects, as applicable

Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification (or eligibility) in Radiation Oncology
- Valid medical license to practice in Louisiana
- Strong clinical expertise in radiation therapy planning and delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Preferred: Proficiency with advanced radiation therapy techniques (e.g., IMRT, SBRT, SRS, IGRT)
