An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for a Radiation Oncology MD in Iowa. The clinician will provide outpatient radiation oncology services at a hospital with a large cancer center and dedicated radiation oncology services. This role involves managing on-treatment patients and delivering various treatment modalities during sporadic weeks through the end of the year.

- Equipped with the Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator system
- Supports external beam and radiopharmaceutical treatment modalities
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient radiation oncology services
- Remote availability for side effect management via the hospital call system
- Manage 8-10 on-treatment patients per day
Shift & Schedule
- Dates needed: Sporadic weeks - end of year
- Shift type: Day Shift
- Call required: No
- Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Requirements
- Board certification required
- Hospital privileges are required
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology required
- Prescriptive authority required
