Moffitt has been recognized as a Best and Brightest Company to Work For in the Nation and is continually named one of the Tampa Bay Times’ Top Workplaces.**Summary**Certified by the American Board of Radiology, a PRN Radiation Oncologist studies and manages diseases, especially malignant tumors and radiological treatments of abnormal tissue, through the use of Photon/Proton and Radionuclides.This position practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise, advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education.Works closely with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, palliative care physicians, APPs and nurse as part of a patient care team. Also works closely with radiation oncology medical physicists, dosimetrists and radiation therapists to plan and deliver radiotherapy. As a PRN physician of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG), the incumbent agrees to provide clinical related activity, including the provision of coverage in the assigned Department on an "as needed" basis. As such, the incumbent agrees to comply fully with MMG policies and procedures and the Hospital's Medical Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Other related duties as assigned by appropriate Leadership.Certified by the American Boards of Radiology.
