Radar Test/Integration EngineerLeidos' Defense Open Air Sensors Division is seeking a Radar Test/Integration Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex sensor and radar orientated problems. Our team is solving the world's toughest security challenges for customers with "can't fail" missions.Primary ResponsibilitiesSoftware installation integration, and testing of RF sensors and systemsRegular US travel (CONUS) and operation of RF sensors and systemsLinux server installation and maintenance, including network installation and managementLinux server user administrationAuthoring of formal test plans and procedures and documenting the results of test events.A variety of tasks related to signal processing, measurement tracker processing, system performance metrics, sensor simulation, or utility tools as part of larger efforts or customer goals will be assigned.
In this role, your organizational skills will be paramount in managing multiple tasks.Basic QualificationsBS degree from an ABET-accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 2-4 years of applicable experienceExperience working with Matlab, Python, or similar programming languagesGood organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background.Familiarity with formal software testing and implementing a methodical testing approach.Experience installing, utilizing, and managing containerized software applications (e.g., Docker or Podman)Highly organized, demonstrating the ability to work independently at times due to fast-paced and highly productive work environment100% onsiteMust be a US citizenNo clearance required to start, must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.Reside in the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.Preferred QualificationsMS degree from an ABET-accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.Experience developing automated tests.Proficiency with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines in a GitLab environment.Proficiency with network setup and maintenance in a Linux environmentExperience authoring and maintaining test plans and proceduresProficiency with Linux administration and scriptingActive Top-secret clearanceExperience in high-performance computing languages such as C++, including CUDAExperience in the operation of radar HWILsExperience working on any radar-related program or projectAbility to create design documentation, requirements specifications, and other technical documentation
