Radar Systems EngineerJoin the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Mission Area within the Systems Engineering Center, where we design and develop advanced radar and early-warning sensor systems that support the military around the world. We are seeking Radar Systems Engineers who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and are eager to support innovative sensor and radar programs.You will work alongside experienced engineers to define system architecture, develop requirements, perform analysis and modeling, and support integration, testing, and flight activities across the full product lifecycle. This role is onsite in El Segundo, California.What You Will DoContribute to all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, including trade studies, development of CONOPS, system architecture, requirements definition and allocation, traceability, integration, verification, and qualificationSupport development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORSRadar mode algorithm development and system performance assessments.Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, and C++Perform daily tasks in a classified and controlled lab environmentParticipate in hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and hands-on laboratory testingSupport verification, validation, flight test, production, and post-deployment activitiesPerform trade studies, functional/physical analyses, and MBSE-based system designPrepare and present technical reports, findings, and briefings to internal and external stakeholdersTravel up to 10%Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (preferably Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience in Systems Engineering with radar algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware integration, data analysis using Matlab, and configuration managementActive and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
