Radar Signal Processing EngineerLeidos' Defense Open Sensors Division is seeking a Radar Signal Processing Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex sensor and radar orientated problems. In this role, your organizational skills will be paramount and managing multiple tasks while ensuring the work remains compatible with the group's larger codebases.Basic QualificationsBS degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 2-4 applicable years of experience -OR- MS degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.Must have excellent math skills and/or possess and show good fundamentals in one or more of the following:Signals and systemsDigital signal processingTracking algorithmsElectromagneticsShould be able to apply one or more of the above skills to the areas of radar modeling & simulation, antenna array theory, digital signal processing, tracking, algorithm development, and field testing of sensor systems.Demonstrated experience in understanding, evaluating, and implementing published scientific literature from sources such as IEEE.Experience working with Matlab, Python, or similar scientific-based programming tools to implement math or scienced based phenomenology related to linear systems, digital signal processing, tracking, or electromagnetics is required.Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background.Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area. This is NOT a remote or work-from-home position.Must be a US citizen, possess or able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.Preferred QualificationsExperience in high performance computing languages such as C++ including CUDAExperience in development or operations of radar HWILsExperience with ADCs, DACs, clock distribution, or embedded systemsHighly organized, demonstrating the ability to work independently at times due to fast-paced and highly productive work environmentExperience working on any radar or communications related program or projectAbility to create design documentation, requirements specifications, and other technical documentationExperience utilizing AI tools to augment technical output (i.e.
