Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you'll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • State radiologic license valid in CA. Limited licenses not accepted. Compact licensure not applicable.
  • BLS certification.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing in the applicable state required.
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 required or documented exemption approved per employer policy.
  • Experience performing portable/mobile X‑ray exams. Experience with digital (DR) and/or computed (CR) radiography required.
  • Ability to perform and transmit EKGs as needed preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift, push, and/or maneuver portable radiography equipment; may involve forces up to 50–100 lbs intermittently.
  • Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience preferred. Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or mobile imaging settings preferred.
  • Maintain required health and operational requirements per employer policy.

Role Summary and Responsibilities:

  • Provide mobile X‑ray and EKG services to skilled nursing and other care facilities in the San Jose, CA area.
  • Perform and process X‑rays using portable DR or CR equipment and submit/transmit to Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images per physician orders.
  • Perform EKGs and transmit to Cardiologist when required.
  • Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
  • Maintain vehicle and portable radiography equipment in safe, working condition.
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, peers, and clients in a professional manner.

  • Location: San Jose, CA.
  • Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility assignments.
  • Shift name: Flex Shifts. AM, PM, Weekend, Evenings coverage; weekend coverage required.
  • Positions available: 1 Full Time, 2 Part Time.
