Qualifications
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED • High School Diploma or Equivalent required • Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required OR • Associate degree preferred • One Year experience in a hospital Radiology preferred • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Upon Hire Req And • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography Upon Hire Pref Or • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography 12 Months Req And • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Req And • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Produce quality images in mammography as defined by the American College of Radiology guidelines. • Mammography: visual inspections, compression checks • Document patient mammography history and family history in RIS system for Radiologist Interpretation and Risk Scoring. • Training, Education, and Team Support: (Training opportunities available in Dexa and Stereotactic biopsy) ADDITIONAL PERKS OF BEING A TEXAS HEALTH EMPLOYEE • Benefits include 401k, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Programs, as well as other benefits. • Delivery of high-quality patient care • Strong Unit Based Council (UBC). • A supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth.
