Radiology TechnologistPerform general radiology, bone density testing, and CT exams independently in both hospital and clinic settings. Equipment utilized in the unit/department includes Xray equipment: Carestream DR-Lite; Shimadzu DR-Lite-Client Dexa machine and CT equipment: Siemens EMR – EPIC, PACs - SECTRA.Required skills and minimum years of experience include two years' experience and proficiency in all exams in the general job duties description above.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required include ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS.Shift or schedule requirements include 8-hour shifts/5 days per week (Mon-Fri). Must be able to work independently. Call is required.
Call shifts are 2-3 weeknights (5:00 PM to 8 AM) and two weekends per month. Weekend call is from Friday at 5:00 PM to 8 AM Monday. Call back time is 20 minutes.There is no floating to other units/departments. The bed size/number of rooms for this unit/department is a 25 bed hospital and small clinic.
6 bed ED Critical Access Hospital; Level 3 Trauma Center.Technologists will be orientated to department procedures, policies, and protocols by technologist in department. Expect traveler to be able to work independently within 1 week of starting. Roughly 15 exams done on weekdays (24 hour period) between Gen X-ray, CT.
