Maintain workspace cleanliness while following job order directions, specifications, and quality requirements.ResponsibilitiesRack and un-rack parts, on and off, various alloy fixturesEnsure parts for racking match the parts listed on the job orderEnsure the count of parts for racking matches the count of parts indicated on the job orderProperly set up the parts for racking according to the company’s standard operating proceduresEnsure proper alloy racks are selected for the coating process indicated on the job orderMonitor the production schedule to ensure that incoming and outgoing parts are being efficiently processed through the department for on-time delivery to customersInspect parts while racking, and bringing any part deficiencies to management’s attentionSkillfully unpackage parts according to company guidelinesClean surfaces of incoming parts to ensure they are free from ink, oil, dirt, and debrisEnsure rack fixtures are clean after each process and ready for the next set of partsAssist with packaging completed parts securely for shipment and as directed by managementAssist with production line assembly processes as directed by managementEnsure tooling and workspaces are kept clean and neatActively participate in production improvement initiativesComplete training as required for production, including forklift trainingEfficiently perform production duties while working in a safe manner and maintaining company safety standardsMaintain organization of racking areas, shipping materials, and workspaces to ensure a clean working environmentComplete other duties as assigned by management
