Procurement And Supply Of Engineering MaterialsResponsible for procurement and supply of engineering materials spread across various build locations.Also responsible for material inventory levels as it moves through the R&D product cycle.There are opportunities to communicate, and problem solve with cross functional teams.Responsibilities:Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material throughout the procurement process.Determines material requirements from engineering.Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.Procurement business system data input and integrity; work w BOMs and parts #in SCM database or other enterprise SW.Experience:Purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Ideally 2-7 years.Skills:MS Office – Knowledge with Excel.Analytical and data manipulation skills.Good organizational skills.Good communication skills.Excels in fast paced environments.Experience working cross functionally.Intuitive and proactive.Sense of urgency.Experience with R&D.Experience with Peoplesoft a plus.
