Duties include:Design electro-mechanical assemblies, machined parts, sheet metal component parts and corrugated/foam packagingDefine mechanical constraints for PCBAsPerform tolerance stackup analysisCreate fabrication drawings, parts lists and assembly drawingsFEA and thermal analysisSource off the shelf componentsInterface with suppliers and operations to address DFM & DFA issuesAssemble and validate prototype assembliesCreate change orders in Agile MRP systemAttend project team meetingsRequirements include:5+ years of hands-on R&D Hardware Design Engineering experienceBS Mechanical EngineeringProficient with Solidworks 3D CAD and simulation toolsPossesses understanding of sheet metal fabrication and machiningAbility to read electrical schematic diagramsExperienced with GD&TProficient with Microsoft Office toolsBasic knowledge of PCB fabrication and design guidelinesBasic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator a plusExperience with Agile a plusKavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
