Key Responsibilities
- Develop Pricing Strategy
- Create and execute enterprise pricing strategies that drive revenue growth, profit margins, market share, and customer acquisition.
- Establish pricing policies, governance, methodologies, and performance metrics.
- Advise executive leadership on pricing opportunities, risks, and market trends.
- Lead Pricing Operations
- Oversee end-to-end pricing execution across all products and channels.
- Manage price updates, pricing exceptions, audits, approvals, and governance.
- Improve pricing processes through automation and operational efficiencies.
- Manage Digital & Marketplace Pricing
- Develop pricing strategies for e-commerce and marketplace channels.
- Monitor competitor pricing, marketplace trends, and pricing algorithms.
- Balance competitiveness, profitability, and channel-specific requirements.
- Drive Pricing Analytics
- Lead competitive pricing analysis, price monitoring, and market intelligence.
- Analyze pricing elasticity, promotional effectiveness, margins, and customer behavior.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner with Merchandising, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Sr. Leadership.
- Support customer pricing programs and pricing technology enhancements.
- Provide strategic pricing insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish pricing controls and governance to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
- Continuously improve pricing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in pricing, merchandising, finance, analytics, revenue management, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and developing talent.
- Experience developing and executing pricing strategies that support revenue growth and profitability objectives.
- Experience managing large-scale pricing operations across multiple product categories or business segments.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders across merchandising, sales, finance, and operations functions.
- Advanced proficiency in pricing analytics, financial analysis, and performance measurement.
- Experience utilizing pricing, business intelligence, or analytics tools to support decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience presenting business recommendations and performance insights to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA or related discipline).
- 10+ years of pricing leadership experience in e-commerce, retail, distribution, marketplace, or omnichannel environments.
- Experience managing pricing across digital commerce channels and third-party marketplaces.
- Experience leading pricing automation, optimization, or transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success improving gross margin, pricing effectiveness, or revenue performance through strategic pricing programs.
