Applicants should be self-motivated, efficient, and positive to assist in the business' strategic growth plan, which will afford you the opportunities to rapidly grow your career.ResponsibilitiesUndertaken and deliver:Cost estimates and peer reviews at all stages from SD to CDCost advice exercises and optional appraisals as required to enable informed decision making to achieve successful projectsProcurement advice and strategies tailored to the project conditions, to best meet the client's needs and requirementsBid process including RFP preparation, bid levelling and recommendation, plus providing commentary of contractual documentationsMonthly financial cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow analysisChange order management, including entitlement review, measurement, negotiations and recommendation as per the contractual documents and the clients' approved processPayment requisitions, soft costs invoices, plus liaising with the client's accounting teamAttend and participate in meetings, plus chair meetings as requiredFinal account and financial close out in accordance with the contractual requirementsOther tasks:Assist with RFP bid preparation and attend project interviewsCollect and provide project benchmarking dataUnderstanding industry trends and developments to facility accurate cost and industry advice to our clients, architects and partnersCommunicate effective verbally and written to delivery accurate cost adviceDemonstrate time management skills to plan manage and delivery tasks in a timely mannerDemonstrate a professional manner when representing WT with clients, consultants and contractors to develop a positive and collaborative working relationshipIdentify opportunities to develop new business with existingSupport other team members as requiredSupport other offices, projects and/or services stream in the preparation of cost related or general task as required from time to timePerforms such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessaryRequiredBSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent relevant degreeA minimum of 4 years' technical experiencePre and post contract experienceUS citizenship and/or existing/transferable right to work in USCovid vaccination required by existing clientsPreferredRoyal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Accreditation (MRICS), or equivalent preferredExperience using cost X, OST, Revit, BIMBenefitsCompetitive base salaryPerformance related annual bonus structure4 weeks' vacation plus statutory holidaysMobile phone expenseComprehensive medical and dental planCompany pension plan with employer contributionsPaid professional membership duesRelocation expenses (by negotiation)How To ApplyProvide a detailed resume and covering letter including details of recent and significant projects, plus achievements.
