Marathon's mission is to build lasting partnerships with an unwavering commitment to delivering best-in-class performance, service, and reliability on behalf of our clients.ResponsibilitiesInstitutionalize CRE team's portfolio management and asset management processBuild and maintain a cloud-based portfolio management platform to process large datasets and support investment decisionsDevelop data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools that provide real-time portfolio analyticsCreate quantitative investment models for portfolio construction, risk management, and performance analysisCollaborate with Investment, Finance, Risk, IT teams and third-party service providers to ensure system integration and data accuracyUtilize data-driven insights to assess investment performance and inform strategy adjustmentsSecondarily, support the investment and asset management teams in analyzing certain investment opportunities across the capital structure as the need arisesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field from a top-tier university3-10 years of experience in software development or quantitative finance roles preferredStrong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) requiredProficiency in database technologies and data management tools (SQL, NoSQL, Spark)Experience building financial applications, dashboards, or analytics platformsPossess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skillsAnalytically strong and excellent attention to detailsThe salary range for this role is $125,000-$150,000 in base pay (exclusive of bonus or benefits above and beyond the base pay). Base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications, and education, and in addition we will also consider internal equity and market data. We do not anticipate that candidates hired will begin at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case by case basis.
