Quality Test Technician - Turbine EnginesSAN DIEGO, CA Immediately Temporary/ContractJob HighlightsJob Number BH_ Location SAN DIEGO, CAStart Date ImmediatelyJob Type Temporary/ContractJob DescriptionMove Forward with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring multiple Quality Test Technicians in San Diego, CA.As a Gas Turbine Quality Test Technician, you will:Install, level, set, prepare and operator OEM gas turbines, gas compressor, driven equipment, package system, control console, microprocessor control, sub-assembly, component and or accessory in test cells, fixtures or in special test bedsConnect a variety of test equipment necessary for test operation Conduct production and first article tests to measure characteristics of packaged systems, controls, subassemblies and componentsObserve and record test dataConduct vibration surveys and trim balance componentsThis is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.Schedule: Monday - Friday1st Shift - 5AM – 2:30PM2nd Shift - 2PM - 10:30PM.The ideal candidate will have:Experience with mechanical and electrical systemsExperience diagnosing troubleshooting, repairing a variety of control circuits and removing faulty components, troubleshooting down to the component levelExperience using testing toolsMechanical or electrical job-related experienceAbility to read schematics and drawingsExperience working with gas turbines is idealPay Rate: $ 30.00 to 32.00 Per Hour DOE*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
