This role ensures KPS Global is able to meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards and satisfy customer requirements.Major ResponsibilitiesPerforming duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirementsAuditing and inspecting raw materials, component parts, sub-assemblies, and finished goods to ensure conformance to specificationsCompleting and maintaining all associated electronic processes and paperwork including bar-coding, checklists, stamping, blueprints, shipping/receiving documents, accessory lists, and scanning of materialsMaintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standardsAdapting and/or calibrating equipment including tape measures, micrometers, and calipers to established guidelines, typically under the guidance of an outside vendorCreate non-conformance reports for material not meeting the required specifications, ensure proper identification and segregation, communicate non-conformance to production for material disposition, and log issues in databaseSupport production personnel on quality training for product specifications and criteriaConduct process compliance audits per established audit protocolsRequired SkillsMust be able to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the workdayMust be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouchMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistanceMust be able to climb and balanceMust be able to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feelMust have manual dexterity in hands for tool usageMust be able to visually inspect productsMust be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environmentMust be able to wear all required personal protective equipmentTravel RequirementsTravel up to 10% requiredRequired ExperienceHigh School Diploma1 – 3 years of related experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprintsIntermediate math and reading comprehension skillsAbility to read a tape measure, micrometer, caliper, depth gauges, go-no go gauges, scales.
