Key Responsibilities
Quality Systems & Compliance
Lead and maintainthe Quality Management System in compliancewith IATF 16949 and applicable ISO standards.
Oversee internal, customer, and certificationaudits and drivecorrectiveactions.
Standardizequalityprocessesacross multiple manufacturingsites.
Ensurecompliancewithautomotivequalitystandards and customer-specificrequirements.
Train and coachteams on APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and otherautomotivecoretools.
Warranty & Customer Quality
Serveastheprimarycustomercontactforwarranty, fieldquality, and customerclaims.
Lead warrantyinvestigations, root causeanalysis, and corrective action implementation.
Analyze warrantytrends, claimrates, and quality KPIs todrivecontinuousimprovement.
Coordinatefieldreturns, containmentactions, and customerreporting.
Support costrecoveryefforts and warrantycostreduction initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
Drive qualityimprovementprojectsfocused on reducing PPM, warrantycosts, and costofpoorquality.
Partner withOperations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supplier Quality teamstoresolvecomplexqualityissues.
Lead cross-functional problem-solvingactivitiesutilizing 8D, RCA, and otherstructuredmethodologies.
Provideleadership and developmentfor Quality Systems, Warranty, and Field Quality personnel.
Report qualityperformancemetrics and improvement initiatives toseniorleadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a relatedfield; equivalentexperienceconsidered.
7+ yearsofexperience in automotivequality, warranty, ormanufacturingenvironments.
Strong knowledgeof IATF 16949 and automotivecoretools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
Experience managingwarrantyclaims, customerqualityissues, and fieldperformanceinvestigations.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
Proven abilitytoleadaudits, drivecorrectiveactions, and improvequalityperformance.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadershipskills.
Ability totravelthroughout North Americaasneeded.
