Job Description

Coordinates many elements of Legacy of Hope’s quality management system, to include documentation and coordination of complaints, errors, deviations, investigations, and corrective and preventative actions. Serves as the System Administrator for the organization’s electronic quality management system and conducts staff and new hire training related to quality systems. Maintains the organization’s policy and procedure documentation and engineering change process. Manages the organization’s Supplier Corrective Action process. Collaborates with external suppliers and stakeholders regarding investigation of non-conformances and corrective/preventive actions. Serves as a data and quality liaison regarding organizational quality systems data housed within the electronic quality management system (QMS). This position will serve as the primary resource for managing all data and delivering reports related to the QMS. This position should be able to work independently for data mining, sorting, and preparing various qualitative and quantitative reports for Legacy of Hope.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or professional degree, i.e., LPN, RN, PA, etc. Three (3) years of quality assurance or quality control experience in a healthcare or related regulated industry. Preferred: Experience in healthcare field in ancillary capacity. Five (5) years of quality assurance or quality control experience in a healthcare or related regulated industry. Preferred Certifications: Certified Tissue Bank Specialist certification or North American Transplant Coordinators Organization Certification. Certification from ASQ or Six Sigma.
