Onsite Full Time Bio & Pharmacology & Health

  • Drive and support continuous improvement of the Quality Laboratory, ensuring that equipment and resource needs are communicated to the Quality Manager, with direct responsibility and ownership of lab equipment, including ensuring maintenance and calibration requirements are met.
  • Support Axiom and in the successful maintenance of AS9100/ISO certification and also toward the acquisition of NADCAP Certification.
  • Assignment of Physical, Mechanical and Analytical testing to quality lab technicians to meet required deadlines for internal and external customer needs.
  • Management of Internal Testing Requests (ITRs) within required deadlines.
  • Supervision of all Quality Laboratory employees with control of Lab resource, including time management and discipline requirements to ensure the needs of the business are consistently met.
  • Create and maintain close working relationship with all lab technicians and ensure 'Lab Rules' are followed at all times.
  • Responsible for handling hazardous waste.
  • Supervision of all Quality Laboratory employees.

Qualifications

  • 4 Year Degree (Science or Engineering preferred) or Equivalent
  • 5+ Years experience in Technical or Quality Control environment
  • 2+ Years supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of technical specification and test methods
  • Aerospace and/or ASTM experience a strong advantage
  • Experience in AS9100, ISO9001, or NADCAP accredited environment
  • Advanced materials and/or chemical testing experience
  • Understanding and/or experience of Lean/Continuous Improvement
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated high proficiency using MS Office software

Required Skills
