The Quality Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and processes to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements. This role works closely with manufacturing, engineering, and sales to drive continuous improvement and resolve quality issues.Key Responsibilities:Understand and implement customer-specific quality requirements, including drawings, specifications, and supplier quality manualsOversee receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product conformityLead and manage the nonconforming material process, including disposition and documentationInitiate, investigate, and drive corrective and preventive actions for internal and customer-related issuesIdentify and implement risk management activities within assigned departmentsServe as the primary quality interface with sales regarding product quality concerns and resolutionsDevelop and maintain inspection plans, checklists, and quality documentationReview and approve: Quote Requests and resulting customer contractsPurchase Orders issued to external suppliersPlan and supervise quality activities to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectationsMaintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the Quality Manual and applicable standards (ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100D, CMMC Level 2)Conduct and oversee internal audits and support external/customer auditsTrain, mentor, and supervise inspection and quality personnelMaintain accurate and complete quality records and documentationAnalyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiativesSkills, Knowledge and Expertise:Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline) requiredStrong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and QA/QC processesHands-on experience with inspection tools and techniques in a manufacturing environmentExperience performing internal audits and ensuring compliance with quality standardsProven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actionsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trendsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and interact with customersExperience working with government or defense-related quality requirements preferredISO 9001 / AS9100D / CDI / QAR experience preferredDue to the nature of the work and applicable government contracts, this position is limited to U.S. Persons (U.S.
