Quality Control ManagerAssists with and monitors activities of Quality System requirements. Directs Quality Control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through other supervisors:Reviewing and releasing materialProduce all the morning paperwork for tasks for the day (production)Review work completed by tech and inspectors.Coordinate with sales, production, and shipping on needed times for customers.Review all necessary documentation for customer required test (FAI, PPAP, CPK Studies)Train new inspectors/techs on old and new processes if required.CI training for all floor employeesInternal corrective actionsExternal CAR/SCAR documentationTrack all reworks as needed before needed for trucks.Actively researching and reviewing new tools and equipment for better processing/testingHelps setup AQP'S new customer parts with the system as needed by our sales team.Make changes/correction to current parts as requested.Assist shipping with load inspections as needed/required by customers.Manage all customer complaints - update, logs and adds complaint reason under every part.Track complaints, held up, rework and set up all charts.Set up internal audits per element by ISO- Certification requirements.Manage and update (quality manual-procedure manual, work instructions, Quality required forms, ASTM standard all required documents).Ensure all Customer Require Surveys are completed to meet LJT Texas requirements.Supervisory responsibilities: This position is responsible for supervising all Quality personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities including training employees; planning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Requirements:Experience with office computer software required, including demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite software packages such as: Outlook, Word, and ExcelEffective analytical skillsEffective verbal and written communicationEffective interpersonal and customer service skillsEffective organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to be detail-orientedAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
