Growscape is a leading Manufacturer of horticulture growing containers, our mission, "From Grower to Gardener, Improving Our World".Key ResponsibilitiesQuality System Ownership & DocumentationOwn the Quality System; assess the current state, build out formal documentation, and drive organization-wide compliance to itDevelop and continuously improve Quality Procedures and Control Plans based on customer requirements and business needsManage documentation related to quality reports, product testing, and regulatory complianceProcess & Product QualitySupervise quality inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goodsMonitor product quality against internal standards and customer requirements, including dimensional accuracy, appearance, durability, and environmental complianceWork with production to establish quality checkpoints, inspection procedures, and process improvementsEnsure lab equipment is functioning as expected, including managing the annual calibration processNon-Conformance & Corrective ActionInvestigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and returns; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (8D)Conduct regular audits of processes, products, and systems to ensure compliance with relevant standardsLead internal teams in preparing for 2nd- and 3rd-party audits; close out any resulting corrective actionsSupplier QualityEnsure supplier quality through audits and incoming materials inspectionLeadership & CultureLead and coach the quality assurance team, providing training and performance feedbackChampion a culture of quality across the organization through communication and engagementQualificationsQualifications and ExperienceEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3–5 years of quality management experience in plastic manufacturing or similar industryStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and defect prevention techniquesTechnical SkillsExperience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysisProficiency in Microsoft Office and quality software (e.g., Minitab, ERP/QMS systems)
