This position oversees all quality functions, manages customer quality concerns, directs corrective and preventive action initiatives, and drives operational excellence through data-driven decision-making.Working closely with Production, Engineering, Facilities, Sales, and Operations, you'll play a critical role in enhancing product quality, increasing efficiency, reducing turnaround times, and developing a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management & ComplianceLead, develop, and manage the Quality Department, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance.Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 standards and regulatory requirements.Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and best practices.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.Coordinate and oversee quality-related projects from planning through execution.Auditing & Process ImprovementLead internal audit programs to evaluate QMS effectiveness and compliance.Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions to improve performance.Conduct and facilitate root cause analysis investigations for quality issues.Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other quality tools to drive process improvements.Monitor quality performance metrics and establish measurable improvement objectives.Customer Quality & Corrective ActionsManage customer complaints, investigations, and resolution activities.Develop and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs.Ensure timely response and resolution of customer quality concerns.Analyze recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.Partner with customers and internal teams to maintain high satisfaction levels.Leadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationFoster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Facilities, Sales, and Operations teams to optimize performance.Present quality metrics, audit findings, and improvement plans to leadership.Drive organizational alignment around quality objectives and business goals.Lead and develop technical personnel to maximize team effectiveness and growth.Preferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate will also possess one or more of the following:ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, or related credential)Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environmentsExperience working in cleanroom operationsKnowledge of AS9100 quality standardsAerospace manufacturing quality experienceAdvanced continuous improvement experienceStrong experience in high-tech manufacturing processesWork EnvironmentThis position operates primarily on a Monday through Friday first-shift schedule (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Depending on project requirements, work may take place in cleanroom settings and semiconductor production areas where adherence to quality, safety, and cleanliness standards is critical.The role combines hands-on quality leadership with strategic planning and requires regular collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the organization.
