Quality ManagerAre you a quality leader who thrives at the intersection of systems, people, and manufacturing excellence? As a Quality Manager at Printpack, you'll serve on the Plant Leadership Team and own the quality function at the facility level —from lab operations and customer relationships to ISO management systems and continuous improvement. This is a high-impact leadership role in our Jackson, TN plant where your expertise directly protects our customers, empowers our associates, and drives operational performance.What You'll DoLead and continuously improve ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 Quality Management SystemsOversee QC Lab operations, calibration programs, and test method developmentDrive customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actionsManage supplier quality issues and incoming material performanceChampion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the plantSupport new product commercialization by establishing quality standards from development through launchLead, coach, and develop a high-performing quality teamServe as the plant's primary quality contact for customers, auditors, and suppliersSkills That Set You ApartQuality Systems Management — Administering, auditing, and improving ISO 9001 and food safety systemsStatistical Process Control — Control charts, capability studies, measurement system analysis, and data-driven decision makingPeople Leadership — Building, motivating, and developing high-performing quality teamsCustomer & Supplier Management — Complaint investigation, scorecard management, supplier claims, and relationship buildingCommunication & Influence — Driving quality understanding and compliance at all levels with clarity and confidenceContinuous Improvement & Lean — Applying structured problem-solving and lean tools to reduce variability and improve performanceLab & Equipment Oversight — Managing QC lab operations, calibration programs, and test procedure accuracyTraining & Development — Building team capability in defect recognition, quality tools, and statistical methodsPlanning & Prioritization — Managing multiple competing priorities with focus in a fast-paced environmentWhat You BringQuality assurance experience in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience with ISO 9001 system administrationExperience with Food Safety systems (ISO 22000, SQF, or equivalent)Working knowledge of statistical quality control and lean manufacturing principlesWork Environment & Physical RequirementsStandard Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility for plant operations, audits, and customer needsAbility to stand, walk, and navigate manufacturing areas; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; PPE required in designated areas (hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes)Travel: Up to 25% (customer visits, supplier visits, audits, cross-site activities)Why Join Us?At Printpack, we believe our people are our greatest competitive advantage.
