You’ll have the chance to shape the site’s quality strategy, build and develop a team, and make a direct impact on product performance and customer satisfaction.Located in Hitchcock, Texas (just outside Houston), this site offers the best of both worlds — a close-knit, team-oriented environment with access to the broader Houston area. WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:Own the site’s quality system — audits, ISO compliance, procedures, and continuous improvementLead and develop the quality team (supervisors, technicians, and inspectors)Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve issues quickly and prevent recurrencePartner with operations to improve performance — reducing scrap, rework, and variationOversee inspections, testing, and quality metrics to ensure consistent product performanceAct as the point of contact for customer quality concerns, returns, and escalationsBuild and deliver training to strengthen quality awareness across the plantProvide clear updates and insights to plant and corporate leadershipYOU HAVE:Bachelor’s degree (engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related) or equivalent experience7+ years of experience leading quality in a manufacturing or construction environmentStrong working knowledge of ISO standards and auditsProven experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA, 8D, etc.)Leadership experience managing teams and driving accountabilityAbility to analyze data and turn it into actionable improvementsExperience handling customer quality issuesNice to have:Certifications (CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, Lean)ISO Lead Auditor experienceWE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every daynVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
