Quality Manager

Job Type: Full-Time | FLSA: Salaried
Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead Quality, Food Safety, and Sanitation operations while ensuring compliance with GFSI standards, FDA regulations, customer requirements, and state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality, Food Safety, and Sanitation teams.
• Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee CAPA, HACCP, Food Defense, Sanitation, Pest Control, Recall, Internal Audits, and other quality programs.
• Lead GFSI, FDA, customer, Kosher, Organic, and other regulatory audits.
• Partner with Manufacturing to address quality and food safety issues.
• Oversee investigations, corrective actions, change controls, and deviations.
• Support continuous improvement and employee training.
• Coach and develop Quality and Sanitation staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing or another regulated industry.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• PCQI certification required.
• Strong knowledge of GFSI standards, HACCP, CAPA, and food safety regulations.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and third-party audits.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs. Position requires time in both office and manufacturing environments.
