We are seeking a hands-on, high-performing Quality Control Technician Lead to join our Quality Operations team. This role performs vital inspection, testing, and documentation activities while playing an active role in continuous improvement, cross-functional coordination, and quality system initiatives.

This position is structured with a Quality Lead Development focus—designed for technical professionals demonstrating strong leadership potential. salary: $72,000 - $82,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

  • Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, as well as critical dimension and visual checks on incoming raw materials and finished products
  • Utilize calipers, metric tapes, gauges, and precision instruments
  • Enter and maintain inspection data in SAP; generate and process Non-Conforming Material Reports (NMRs); disposition rejected materials; maintain and archive official quality records.
  • Participate in root cause investigations, Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert to Production, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and support internal audits.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specs, and tolerances; hands-on expertise with precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent enterprise ERP software.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9000 quality management standards.
