Quality InspectorWe are seeking a Quality Inspector to join the manufacturing team of a local client. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a precision manufacturing environment and is committed to delivering high-quality products through accurate inspection and documentation.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components and assemblies.Verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, dial indicators, and other inspection tools.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or products.Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality concerns.Support first article inspections, process audits, and final acceptance inspections as required.Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities.Verify calibration status of inspection equipment prior to use.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Minimum of two years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience in precision manufacturing, metal fabrication, machining, industrial equipment, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.Experience performing first article, in-process, and final inspections.Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus.
