Quality InspectorNow hiring for a Quality Inspector in Tucson, AZ. Pay rate: $21.00 – $41.00 per hour. Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday (6:00 AM – 3:30 PM) + Friday (6:00 AM – 10:00 AM). Additional training in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Precision Inspection, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Quality Systems preferred. Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI), GD&T, and blueprint reading is highly desirable.Experience Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing quality inspection experience with a strong mechanical inspection background; 6+ years in an ISO 9001/AS9100 environment preferred.

Experience performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections for machined and production components. Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, optical comparators, and other precision measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, certifications, military specifications, and industry standards. Working knowledge of GD&T, quality documentation, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102 requirements. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Must be a U.S. citizen and successfully pass required background and drug screening.Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform detailed inspection tasks throughout the workday. Capable of handling inspection tools, measuring equipment, and manufactured components with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity required for precision measurement and quality verification.Job Duties: Promote a strong safety-first culture by supporting workplace safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with company standards. Perform receiving, in-process, and final quality inspections on machined and manufactured products. Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measurement equipment to verify compliance with engineering requirements. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, certifications, and customer specifications to ensure product quality. Create and complete AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain accurate quality records. Identify nonconformances, support corrective actions, and ensure products meet aerospace and manufacturing quality standards.
