We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our client’s manufacturing team in Milford, CT!
This is a full time position with a successful aerospace company that offers great benefits.
1st shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm plus overtime
Pay rate $20-27/ hour
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established quality standards and specifications.
- Use measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions and compliance with requirements.
- Document inspection results, including identifying and recording nonconformances and defects.
- Ensure all materials and products meet quality requirements before proceeding to the next stage of production or shipment.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection, quality control, or a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality control processes, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and nonconformances.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with quality documentation systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
