QA Inspector BUnder the direction of the Quality Manager, Inspector B is responsible for the inspection and testing of processes and products to ensure quality. Working with a variety of inspection equipment, methods, processes, and products; QA Inspectors will ensure all proper procedures are being followed and documented to maintain ISO and customer standards resulting in total compliance with company quality policy.Essential Functions:Perform incoming and routine inspections per approved drawings, control plans and specifications that include dimensional, visual and functional verificationMonitoring and inspecting of product and processes that ensure production of parts to company quality policy standardsFinished goods inspectionReceiving and Outside Process inspectionMaintain accurate documentation of inspection resultsEnsuring outgoing products comply with required specificationsResponsibilities:This list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management deems necessary. Employees are and will be held accountable for all duties of the job.Maintain the quality record matrix and quality formsAssist in the development of new work instructions and formsPerform analysis on select processes and report findingsRecommend updated or new processesResponsible for the detection of defective material and initiation of defective material reportsAssist in the quarantine of defective materialsAdminister approved changes to the quality systemUse a variety of precision measuring instruments and gaging equipment including comparator, micrometer, caliper, MicroVu, Oasis operation, hard gages, height gages GO/NO GO gages, thread gages, profilometer and roundness checkersAccuracy verification of gages and measuring equipmentMechanically and mathematically adeptAssist in QA and ISO auditsAll other duties as assignedRequirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
