Onsite Full Time General

Are you a hands-on quality leader who is ready to step out of the corporate layers and take complete ownership of a manufacturing plant's quality function?

Job Posting

We are a long-established, highly integrated industrial manufacturer in Evansville, Wisconsin, and we are looking for a Quality Manager to lead our plant quality operations. We operate a complete manufacturing ecosystem that includes casting, machining, welding, and assembly, producing components for critical industrial, agricultural, and commercial applications. Right now, we are growing our machined casting programs and need a leader who can take independent ownership of our quality department. This is a visible, hands-on role where you will not be buried under corporate bureaucracy. Instead, you will have the autonomy to rebuild our operating rhythm, stabilize our technician team, and directly influence our manufacturing success.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of Quality Technicians across our facilities, stepping in to help solve problems on the floor when needed.
  • Take complete ownership of the PPAP process, driving faster execution and clear communication for new part launches.
  • Champion our corrective action program, investigating internal and external quality issues and implementing permanent solutions using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Maintain our ISO 9001:2015 certification, managing internal audits, registrar audits, and quality documentation.
  • Improve quality performance for machined castings by interpreting GD&T requirements, establishing measurement strategies, and supporting dimensional inspections.
  • Oversee our calibration program and utilize metrology equipment, including CMMs and spectrometers, to ensure product reliability.

What You'll Bring

  • A strong background in manufacturing quality with the ability to operate independently and take ownership of an entire plant quality function.
  • A hands-on leadership style and a willingness to work directly alongside technicians on the manufacturing floor.
  • Experience leading or heavily supporting PPAP activity, with the ability to assume ownership of the process quickly.
  • A solid understanding of ISO-based quality systems, root-cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies.
  • Practical experience with GD&T interpretation and dimensional inspection strategies.
  • Exposure to machining quality, ideally involving cast metal components, pumps, or heavy industrial equipment.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with engineering, operations, and production teams.

We offer a stable, deeply rooted manufacturing environment where your work directly impacts the final product. You will have the support to make real changes, a flexible daily schedule, and the opportunity to grow your career alongside our expanding capabilities. If you are ready to take the reins and build a high-performing quality team,
