We're seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Manager to lead enterprise Quality Engineering initiatives across web, mobile, API, and enterprise platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned QA leader who thrives in fast-paced Agile environments and enjoys building scalable quality processes while leading high-performing engineering teams.

What You'll Do

As the Quality Engineering Manager, you'll own end-to-end quality strategy and delivery across multiple product portfolios. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases while driving automation, process improvements, and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Quality Engineering delivery across Web, Mobile, API, and Enterprise applications
  • Own release planning, quality assessments, go/no-go recommendations, and release readiness
  • Lead and mentor Quality Engineers, technical leads, and offshore/vendor teams
  • Build and execute enterprise Quality Engineering strategies across functional, regression, API, integration, mobile, accessibility, security, and performance testing
  • Drive automation strategy and expand automation coverage using modern testing frameworks
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
  • Define and improve QE governance, testing standards, quality metrics, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to ensure successful software delivery
  • Champion Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Support production releases, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience
  • 5+ years leading Quality Engineering teams across multiple products
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Web, Mobile, API, and Platform applications
  • Proven leadership managing distributed, offshore, and vendor QA teams
  • Strong experience with release management, quality governance, and Agile delivery
  • Hands-on experience with one or more automation frameworks including:
  • Playwright
  • Selenium
  • Cypress
  • WebDriverIO
  • Appium
  • RestAssured
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Strong background in API testing, mobile testing, enterprise integrations, and cloud device platforms
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience

  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or k6
  • Accessibility (WCAG), Security Testing, and PCI/SOX compliance
  • AI-assisted testing and intelligent automation
  • Digital commerce, retail, payments, QSR, or other enterprise technology environments

First 30 Days

  • Learn the application portfolio and current QE landscape
  • Build relationships across Product, Engineering, and DevOps
  • Assess automation maturity and identify improvement opportunities

First 90 Days

  • Standardize QE processes and release governance
  • Improve release visibility and quality metrics
  • Establish automation priorities and execution roadmap

Long-Term

  • Deliver predictable, high-quality software releases
  • Increase automation coverage and reduce production defects
  • Build a scalable, high-performing Quality Engineering organization
