Position Overview: Our team is currently looking for a Quality Engineer for a client in the Motorsports Industry, Honda Racing Corp.
Responsibilities
- Quality Control (QC) of in‑house components: develop inspection protocols, control charts, validate measurement equipment.
- New Product Introductions & Corrective Actions: lead cross‑functional teams, troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
- Non‑Conformance Management: review in UniPoint, provide feedback, manage tooling calibration and equipment tracking.
- Advanced Product Quality Planning: first‑article inspections, process validation, work instructions, correlation studies.
- Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: create reports, plan Six Sigma activities, manage calibration, review drawings.
Requirements
- BS in Manufacturing Engineering or Material Science Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Vendor management and raw material familiarity.
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- MS Office, Minitab, UniPoint.
Must Haves
- Strong problem‑solving and statistical analysis.
- Effective communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams under pressure.
- Ability to develop and present technical documentation.
Working Condition
- Santa Clarita, California; on‑site.
- Relocation offered.
- One‑year contract with possible extension/direct hire.
