Quality Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support quality management systems, investigate product and process issues, perform root cause analyses, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a foundational understanding of quality management systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards.Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct quality investigations and support failure analysis activities for internally manufactured products and processes.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist in determining root causes of quality issues and developing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support nonconformance investigations, escape management activities, and resolution of process-related concerns.
• Participate in quality review meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to drive timely issue resolution.
• Perform Customer Return Material (CRM) investigations and document findings.
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to improve product quality and process performance.
• Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports as required.
• Support compliance with applicable quality management systems and industry standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide support to Site Quality Engineering activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Basic understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or AS9110 standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and identify trends or root causes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, co-op, or academic project experience related to quality, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, or SAP systems.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, Pareto Analysis, or CAPA processes.
• Knowledge of aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
