Quality Engineer IIOur client, an automotive company, is looking for a Quality Engineer II for their Redford, MI location.Responsibilities:Coordinates quality objectives with other departmentsDrives continuous improvement by developing and implementing error and mistake proofingKeeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problemsDrive issues to closure through the various quality feedback loopsAnalyzes assembly process data to look for trends or possible upcoming concernsWorks with advanced quality tools (i.e., PFMEAs) to ensure a quality assembly processAnalyzes SPC data and works with manufacturing engineering to make process improvementsKnowledge of GD&T and CMM operationsFacilitate others in the executions of quality improvement activitiesTo work in a plant environment, working hands-on with engine assemblyRequirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering required.2–4 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environmentExperience with SPC data analysisProficiency with advanced quality tools, including PFMEAsKnowledge of GD&T and CMM operationsAbility to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawingsExperience analyzing assembly process data to identify trends and drive corrective actionSelf-motivated with a high degree of independence and accountabilityComfortable working in a fast-paced plant environment and building rapport with hourly production staffAbility to handle conflict professionally and drive issues to resolution under pressureWhy Should You Apply?Health benefitsReferral programExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
