In this position, the quality engineer assures our high level of quality is being maintained.

The quality engineer monitors, inspects, and evaluates parts and equipment while complying with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.The quality engineer is technical support for our machine shops and engineering team. They will work closely with these teams to develop and maintain quality standards, work instructions, checklists, and standard operating procedures. Moreover, they assure technicians have the appropriate documentation to meet current standards in place and support continuous improvement activities.Primary Job Responsibilities:The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Perform part inspections of machine componentsMaintain inspection sheets and ensure technicians have correct information (drawings, check sheets, write up forms)Determines whether tests results are acceptable or not.
