Quality Engineer - Data

S. based company providing advanced solutions for mission-critical integrated microwave electronics and antenna systems used for Radar, Electronic Warfare, Satcom, and Missile Systems for the defense and aerospace markets. We partner with top tier defense contractors to develop bespoke designs for challenging requirements as well as supporting build-to-spec programs that strengthen our military's missions. We are seeking a Quality Engineer to be responsible for product quality on assigned programs to ensure that customer contract requirements are fulfilled. S. citizenship is required to obtain a government security clearance.

Review of customer contracts, Statements of Work, Purchase Order Quality Clauses, drawings and specifications Review and approval of quality requirements for Manufacturing Planning and Supplier Purchase Orders Point of contact for assigned customer's audits, quality inquiries, and SCAR's Perform investigations and create reports for RMAs (customer returned parts) Drive process and product improvement, working with Engineering and Operations Analyze COPQ data (rework, scrap, warranty) to identify opportunities for improvement Perform defect data (internal and external) trend analysis to drive continuous improvement. Meet established quality objectives and metrics Review and create First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 as required Comply with and ensure department compliance with all Company policies and procedures Experience with use of technical drawings, specifications, manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, and configuration control of documents Experienced with Configuration Control Board (CCB), review of ECOs, drawings, source control specifications, test plans & reports Experience creating, updating, reviewing, and releasing Quality Management Systems documents that meet ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and associated documents (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram, capability studies) preferred Experienced in First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation IAW AS9102 Experience with a diverse set of manufacturing and assembly processes, e.g. PCB manufacturing, motors and encoders, conformal coating, IPC soldering, plating, painting, electro-mechanical assembly, test and inspection, preferred. Knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes preferred Familiar with typical ERP business system software Proficient in MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and other CRM tools High energy, results oriented, self-motivated/self-reliant, team player Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with an organization and customers at all levels

Experience: Minimum 3 (three) to 5 (five) years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledgeable in ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 quality systems a plus.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; S. citizenship is required to obtain a government security clearance.
